Pitchside after Wales v England in round two of the Championship last weekend, presenter Gabby Logan asked Sarah Bern for a ‘fit check’ to set the mood. Sarah has really stepped up her socials game and it's working for her. Gabby rightly referred to the England prop as a socials queen.

When Gabby asked for a live TikTok from Sarah and Wales’ Jasmine Joyce-Butchers, I saw it as part of a wider move for player empowerment. It takes a lot of bravery to do what Sarah is doing at the moment, and so for a BBC presenter to request a live is all part of the growth of the women’s game.
