My Story

From humble beginnings in London to proudly wearing the Red Rose for England, my journey has been anything but ordinary.

Before rugby found me, I lived a life full of different chapters — a gas engineer, a firefighter, a hammer thrower for England at the Commonwealth Games, and even a commercial diver. Every experience shaped the woman I am today: determined, passionate, and driven by purpose.

Rugby entered my life later than most. I didn’t pick up a ball seriously until I was in my mid-twenties, but once I did, there was no looking back. I went from grassroots club rugby to representing my country in what felt like the blink of an eye. It’s a reminder that no matter when you start, if you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

Off the pitch, I’ve always believed that sport is about more than just winning. It’s about inspiring others, creating space for people who feel like they don’t belong, and challenging old ideas of who can succeed. Whether through my voice, my actions, or my story, I aim to break barriers and show that representation matters.

I’m proud of everything I’ve achieved so far, but I know my story is still being written — and it’s not just my story, it’s for every young person who dreams of being seen, heard, and celebrated.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
